Thinking of applying to UCLA School of Law?

Here are tips for making your best impression and creating your best chances for acceptance.

1. KNOW YOUR DEADLINES – Application must be submitted by February 1. 2021. Take LSAT no later than January 31. 2021. If applying to Distinguished Scholars Program that deadline was November 16. 2020.

2. ACHIEVEMENT FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM – This full tuition scholarship program is designed for high achieving applicants who’ve also overcome significant life obstacles. Requires an additional 1 page essay. Deadline to apply is January 4. 2021.

3. INTERVIEWS- UCLA does not offer interviews as part of the process. This makes the Personal Statement even more important to introduce yourself.

4. EARLY APPLICATION ADVANTAGE?- While you’re encouraged to apply early, this won’t significantly increase your odds of acceptance. Offers of admission are usually made between January and late April.

It’s important to know all of the application requirements of each school you apply to, and check the FAQs to learn extra information that can help you create an application more likely to be accepted.
